LET’S GET DETAILED

Read the below for detailed information about our wedding festivities and answers to any questions you may have!

What is a gay wedding?

It’s like a straight wedding, but the grooms are helpful.

All jokes aside, if a wedding between two men makes you uncomfortable or you are unsupportive of gay marriage, we kindly ask you decline attending. We want to feel the love and support from all attendees on our special day and want everyone in attendance to be comfortable celebrating our marriage.

When should I expect a full paper invite?

The paper Save the Date will be the only physical mail you receive. All the information is right here on our website!

How do I RSVP and by what date?

Please RSVP online here by August 24, 2026 using the password from the paper invite. If you have issues with the RSVP portal or lost the paper invite, please let us know at davikwedding@gmail.com.

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

No. While we love your children, the wedding will be in a fine art gallery with ample cocktails and dancing, so you’re going to be plenty to handle without kiddos in tow. We appreciate your understanding and hope this allows you to be present for the celebration. If this limits you from joining us, we understand and will celebrate with you another time.

Do you have a hotel block?

No. There are plenty of hotel and AirBnb options in the area. Below are some recommended options closer to the venue. Click the below to be directed to their respective websites:

We encourage you to choose a place in a neighborhood you want to stay if nothing above appeals to you.

Could you suggest places to eat, drink, and see while I'm in town for your wedding?

Check out our travel guide page here to see some of our favorite spots to eat, drink, and explore in Colorado.

What are the addresses of the welcome party and wedding venue? Are they wheelchair accessible?

The Wedding Welcome Party (Friday, 10/09) will be at Public Offering Brewing Company:

1736 S Broadway  |  Denver, CO 80210

This venue does not have dedicated parking. If you drive, park in the neighborhood off of E Mexico Avenue, E Colorado Avenue, S Lincoln Street, or S Sherman Street. The venue is fully accessible.

Our Wedding (Saturday, 10/10) will be at Space Gallery:

400 Santa Fe Dr  |  Denver, CO 80204

While we would not encourage driving, there is ample street parking along Santa Fe and 4th Avenue. Check street signage, but cars in this area can typically be left overnight if needed. The venue is fully accessible via ramp and elevator.

What's the dress code for your wedding?

Cocktail Attire. No polos, no jeans, no shorts, no jorts. Thoughtful patterns and colors are encouraged. If you need more clarification on Cocktail Attire, please click here.

What is the climate like in the area?

Historically on this date, the weather in Denver ranges between 45°F to 67°F and is rarely below 35°F or above 81°F. Our ceremony will be indoors, while cocktail hour will take place on the patio. The reception will take place throughout the whole venue. Temperatures can fluctuate greatly, so please bring layers for the evening if needed.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

We'll be serving rotating dining options throughout the evening. There will be no formal sit down dinner, but plenty of food. All food options will be clearly marked with allergens. To help us ensure adequate options, please note dietary restrictions on your RSVP.

WIll there be an open bar?

Duh, what type of question is that? There will be plenty of unique cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options to enjoy.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding ceremony?

Our officiant will indicate when you can take photos during the wedding ceremony. Otherwise, please keep your phone away and silent so you can truly be in the moment with us. This will allow our professional photographer and videographer to capture the ceremony without screens everywhere. After that, for the rest of the evening go wild!

Can I post wedding photos on social media? Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Yes, please do! Our wedding hashtag is #davikwedding. We will have a QR code via GuestCam at each event where you can upload photos to share and download as you wish. Once available, we will also share our professional photos on this platform and send a message to everyone to check them out.

Could you give me a link to your wedding registry?

Click here for our registry. If you are inclined, we would prefer contributions to our honeymoon fund through Joy at the link to help us save for our epic honeymoon adventure, scheduled for 2027! A wedding card box will be at our reception, but we request no physical gifts in-person please.

Where will wedding updates be posted?

Additional updates or changes will appear here on our wedding website.

CAN I TOUCH THE ART AT THE VENUE?

No. It’s an art gallery and you are not 5 (ahem Nick Jesteadt and Jerod Leff). We understand you may be drinking, but if you break it, you buy it. The art in the gallery is actually for sale with pricing on the placard signage, so if you do intentionally want to buy something, the venue coordinator can help you out.

Wow, even after all this I still have more questions about your wedding, who can I contact?

Please reach out to us at the form below or at davikwedding@gmail.com. Note that questions sent to us once the wedding festivities start on 10/08 may go unanswered.
